Travel directions

There are several ways to drive to Domaine la Chabanne. Most people either take a route via Paris or Luxembourg. Both routes are indicated on the Google Maps maps below. For the last kilometers, we recommend that you print out the following route description that we have made ourselves.

Domaine la Chabanne has no street name. It is located on the D420 road. The address is registered as the name of the house: “la Chabanne” in Châtel-Montagne. Do not confuse this with the place name la Chabanne, because it is 20 km south of us. Route last 25 km:

• From Lapalisse you drive south via the D7.

• After 13 km, turn left at La Croix Rouge and take the D25 towards Châtel-Montagne.

• When you arrive at Chatel Montagne, continue on the road (D25) towards Chargueraud (a small hamlet) and Roanne.

• Once you have passed through Chargueraud, after about 1.5 kilometers turn right onto the D420 towards Saint-Nicolas-des-biefs.

• Now drive for about 1.5 kilometers and in a bend to the left you drive onto a sandy path on the right. At the sandy path is the sign for “Camping La CHABANNE”. Drive down and you have arrived.
